Caring for your New Brows
-
For the first couple hours after the procedure, blot brows with a clean tissue to avoid excess lymph build up.
-
The day after your procedure, gently wash your brows using the soap provided. Make sure to thoroughly rinse off and pat dry with a paper towel. Continue to wash morning and night for 10 days.
-
After each wash, gently apply a thin layer of the ointment provided with a clean Q-Tip or clean fingertips. If brows are feeling really dry and itchy, apply another layer midday but do not exceed more than 4 times a day.
-
Brows should be kept COMPLETELY DRY for 2 weeks (other than when washing).
-
Avoid long, hot showers, swimming, saunas, working out and all other heavy sweating activities.
-
Avoid direct sun exposure for 2 weeks and after brows are healed, use a tattoo-safe SPF for longevity.
-
Do not apply any makeup to the brow or brow area for 10-14 days.
-
Do not touch or rub the brow and do not attempt to pick or peel at any scabs. Doing so may result in pigment loss or serious infection.
-
Do not use skincare products with glycolic acid, lactic acid, AHA's or retinol in the brow/ forehead area as it will fade your pigment.
-
If you are a blood donor, do not give blood for 1 year following your permanent makeup procedure.

Failure to follow these Aftercare instructions may result in pigment loss and/or infection.

What to Expect During the Healing Process
Day 0 (After Procedure): Brows will look perfect (some redness/swelling may be possible)
Days 2-5: Brows will be very dark in color/may be thicker
Days 5-10: Brows may be tight/itchy and skin will start flaking off/changing the shape
Days 10-15 (Ghosting Stage): Pigment will completely disappear as the skin heals over the pigment (This stage can last up to a week)
Days 15-30: Color will return depending on client’s skin retention
After Touch Up: Retention will be much better and brows will look more perfected

Please note, final results and time frame cannot be guaranteed as everyone heals and retains pigment differently.
