FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What can I expect at my first appointment?
We want to try to make this process as easy going as possible!\

All appointments always start off with a consultation to discuss the service, process, aftercare, etc.

After a thorough consult and all your questions are answered, it's your time to do as you please! Take this time to have a conversation, take a nap, listen to your own music or just relax!

How do I prepare for my appointment?
After booking your appointment, you will receive a confirmation email/ text with a link to fill out a consent form according to your service. We recommend filling out the consent form as soon as possible as it goes over precare and all other necessary information leading up to your appointment.

What payment options do you take?
Cash is preferred but we do also take credit/debit cards, Venmo and Zelle.
We are now also offering Buy Now, Pay Later plans using Klarna, Affirm and Afterpay. Please note that if you plan on using any of these payment plans, please contact us beforehand so we can discuss terms and conditions.

Can I get my eyebrows done if I'm pregnant or breastfeeding?
Artistry by Andrea will not do permanent makeup on any client who is pregnant or breastfeeding due to unknown complications and risks associated with the procedure. It is recommended to finish breastfeeding before considering any sort of permanent makeup.

It is also not recommended to do eyebrow lamination on clients who are pregnant or breastfeeding due to increased skin sensitivity and possibility of inconsistent results.

Can you help me choose a permanent makeup style?
Absolutely! It all depends on your natural brows and the overall look and goal you are trying to achieve. Feel free to email or text pictures of your brows and we'd be happy to help.
You can also book an appointment for any permanent makeup service and we can further discuss what would be the best option for you at the time of your appointment consultation

What if I have had my brows microbladed/ tattooed by another artist?
Ideally, the previous tattoo should be significantly faded in order to work over. Brows that have been worked on previously must be approved by Andrea prior to booking an appointment. Please send a couple pictures to Artistry by Andrea for further assistance. (Pictures should be taken in natural lighting with no makeup or filter using the rear camera on your phone)

Why do I need to come back for a 6 week touchup?
Permanent makeup is a 2 step process so coming back for your touchup is crucial! This session is used to "perfect" the brow and see how they healed. Adjustments like darkening the color, refining the shape, etc. can also be made at this time.

How often to I have to come in for a touchup?
After your initial appointment and 6 week touchup, longevity will range from person to person so touchup times will vary. Ideally brows can last anywhere from 1- 3 years depending on lifestyle, skin type, skincare products, etc. Andrea recommends at least 50% fading before coming in. As always, if you're unsure, feel free to send pictures of your brows for further assistance.
